{"id":602,"date":"2013-04-01T14:30:34","date_gmt":"2013-04-01T14:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kidsengineer.com\/?p=602"},"modified":"2013-04-01T14:30:34","modified_gmt":"2013-04-01T14:30:34","slug":"new-social-technologies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kidsengineer.com\/?p=602","title":{"rendered":"New Social Technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I noticed for the first time this year (when sixth graders were doing their yearbook pages),\u00a0 how much of their photos are on Instagram and other social media.\u00a0 In the past, kids have brought in photos on CD and USB drives with some pulling photos of their parent&#8217;s Facebook pages.\u00a0 This year, they were using their email (gmail), their own Facebook pages, and Instagram.\u00a0 I have not got into Instagram and Pinterest much myself, finding that keeping up with my Facebook feed takes more than enough time.\u00a0 But I was reading recently that kids are moving away from Facebook and more into these more specific, fast moving sites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I noticed for the first time this year (when sixth graders were doing their yearbook pages),\u00a0 how much of their photos are on Instagram and other social media.\u00a0 In the past, kids have brought in photos on CD and USB &hellip;
